Do People Blog Anymore?

I always wonder if anyone reads blogs anymore or if they start to fall into the category of recipe sites. We don’t really want to sift through the tragic backstory that leads to the chef creating stroganoff, we just want the recipe for stroganoff. Maybe the ingredients only.

So, is it the same for artists? Do you follow artists to know their thoughts and opinions or do you just want to see the art and move on?

It’s perfectly okay to not really want a relationship with the artist, and I mean that in a minimal way not a creepy parasocial way.

I think the fall of Tumblr really set off a lot of the social media turning away from long rambles and moving to short form content. (Look I have whole binders of tin foil hat level of conspiracy theories about why that is and I won’t go into it unless asked.)

Either way I hope I can use this blog as a sort of check in and maybe a progress check point of sorts. Things like news (where I start selling at, new products in the works etc) and highlights of achievements. If you want real personal thoughts you’ll have to check out my patreon.

What’s going on right now?

I am working on setting up etsy, getting a lamination machine, and selling wholesale to local businesses.

I also plan on writing a book/comic soon. Its still in VERY early stages but there is something in the works. So, stay tuned on socials and patreon if you want to see what starts forming from that.

It’s a slow process as I’ve had a lot of family emergencies this year… like a lot, but here soon I’m gonna get back in the swing of things.

Have a good day or evening or whenever you read this.

Thank you <3
